Interior Design encompasses more then just making a room look pretty. It takes into account the flow, architecture, scale, and connection of a space to the whole of a home. It requires understanding your needs and desires as well as the structure’s energy and flow. There is an energy to our environment that speaks the language of our soul. This is the opportunity to tap into both and create something beautiful!
This is where intuition and my spiritual gifts come into play in my work. I use my spiritual gifts to connect with the energy of the structure, the neighborhood, and you to understand how the needs and desires of all components meet. I am then able to negotiate the flow of energy within the layouts I create to ensure better movement for people and energy. As I listen to you tell me about the feel and the function you are looking for, I am receiving “hits” on materials, layout, and connecting these to the structure seeing the highest potential of the project. These services are tailored to those getting ready to sell or moving to a new home.
Staging to sell- consultation for homes going on the market to increase their sale potential. I consult prior to listing, walking the house with you and identifying areas that need attention. I make suggestions on furniture layout, paint colors, finish changes or repairs for the greatest impact to buyers showcasing the property to its highest potential. I also point out potential issues for inspectors or potential buyers. A trained eye to eliminate the questions prior to listing for sale!
Design to Move- whether scaling up or down, I help you make the most with what you already have! I place your existing pieces in the floorplan for your new home for a seamless transition and cohesive result. This service provides space plans for the new house based on your existing furniture. This helps determine what to take and what to leave. It will identify areas needing to be filled and assess fit with your existing furniture. These plans make it easy on moving day as you already know where everything is going! It cuts down on the frustration and guess work when the truck shows up because you have a complete plan to place all of your furniture.
